Cases and front Ports

Ok it might just be me but why are all these cases maken ports on the front of the computer or on the top of the computer. The top sounds reasonable but who wants all those damn wires flareing around ontop of there case or even worse all over the place on front of there case? I know you could rigg them not to be flying down over the disk drives and what now but I just dont think that would be very presentable anyhow.

Are you talking about the internal wires or the wires hooking into the USB/IEEE1394/headphone ports?

Uhh i dont like them on the top because they interfere with the Tornado array venting air (hot or otherwise) out. On the front they can interfere with the Tornado array bringing air in and on the side, they interfere with yet another Tornado array venting air out. However, they are a balance of most convenient and lest interferring on the front

I guess I don't see why a few small wires going to the front of the case will affect the airflow all that much (I could go into some fluid dynamic calculations but I don't really feel like it right now).

I didnt mean interfere with the airflow, i meant ... if there is a "module" there for the USB stuff... i cant put a Tornado there :P ... granted seven Tornados should be enough for anyone :P
