Hi,

Some days ago i've installed a program called STranslator, used to read Akai Sampler CD with a pc. Today i've tried to burn some audio files with Nero but i got an error:

00:13:37 #29 CDR -1024 File Writer.cpp, Line 304
Échec de la communication (i'm french... failure of the communication)

00:13:37 #30 Text 0 File ThreadedTransfer.cpp, Line 229
all writers idle, stopping conversion

00:13:43 #31 CDR -201 File WriterStatus.cpp, Line 154
Fonction writestate invalide
HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4163B\H1 T0

00:13:43 #32 TRANSFER -18 File WriterStatus.cpp, Line 154
Impossible d'exécuter (impossible to execute) EndTrack

00:13:43 #33 Text 0 File dlgbrnst.cpp, Line 1713
Set remaining time: 0:00,000 (0ms) -> OK

00:13:44 #34 Phase 34 File dlgbrnst.cpp, Line 1855
La simulation a échoué à (the session failed at) 40x (6 000 Ko/s)

00:13:44 #35 Text 0 File AudioCompilationImpl.cpp, Line 828
DRM: DRM burn session terminated.

To use STranslator I've installed (or updated, don't remember) aspi files. But i've removed them with aspi killer and i still got the same problem, i've also tried to install aspi 2.60...

Do you think that STranslator have modified other files?

Thanks for your help

STranslator sounds like a file conversion utility. The files you tried to write with Nero were no longer in one of the formats that Nero supports for writing to blank media. The amount of files changed will depend on how many files and folders were accessible to STranslator. Often an entire directory can see conversion when the contents are highlighted. Take note of a file's three digit extension to see a change there if modified.
