Hello thank you for reading this, right i started by trying to burn cd's but it came up error, it says its a damaged cd, now i have a pack of them and it says the same for all discs, i tried the discs on another pc and they work and burn fine , no problem. so its not the cd's. I tried to use 3 diff software and i get same result from all three,,error..now i can burn dvds they work fine so i don,t understand what the problems is.

You can use the method above but i would highly doubt that it will work because i tried it many times and it would never work. I guess you have to get a new one. But again try the method above but other than that there is no solution that i can think of that will fix your problem.
