CD/DVD Burn Software?

Hello there, I picked a new Sony Vaio laptop last night. Only thing is I've noticed that it does not have a cd/dvd burning software like Roxio or something. Or maybe i'm just missing it, but i've looked now for quite sometime.

Any good free downloadable cd/dvd software I can download?

IMGburn is one of my favourites as well - it's very light and one of those "does exactly what it needs to and nothing more" pieces of software. Roxio/Nero, while generally good, feel a bit too heavyweight for such a simple task.
 
You have to pay for Nero but I use Nero Express Essentials (you can make ISOs from CDs/DVDs using this too) because I got a free copy of Nero 9 Essentials bundled with a DVD drive I bought. Works good for me. If you are using Windows 7 there is already burning software included, called 'Windows Disc Image Burner' which is OK.
 
Agree with all. Was a time and place for Nero. Used Nero Ultra for years. The burn software with windows works well. Imgburn and Ashamoo or what ever its called which i also have works. Free is good. Also good about donating a few bucks for software that works well and meets my needs. cheaper than buying. using paypal and donating $5.00 works for me.
