CD/DVD disk doesnt work - but registrered in BIOS

Hello,

My CD/DVD disk doesnt work anymore. I think its more like a setting, which isnt correct.

I see that its registered in BIOS, but when I try to play a game/DVD etc. it will not be displayed in My Computer.

Any idea what might have caused this?

Try deleting the upper and lower filters. the process is shown here at microsoft

Does the drive show up in device manager? Does it have a yellow exclamation point next to it?
