CD/DVD drives not found

Hello, I recently bought Red Alert 3 and I didnt know that it was a DVD. My dvd drive hadnt worked for quite a while, so I bought a new one. When I installed it into my computer and turned it on, now my computer does not recognize both my CD drive and my DVD drive. I get a message when I boot my computer up saying, Unable to find SATA disk drive 4 and 5. Any help would be appreciated because I cannot figure out how the CD drive would stop working as well.
