CD Not Showing

The young lady that lives with us brought a CD home that music on it (I think) for homework,anyway,she tried her Apple computer and it didn't work,then we tried and older laptop of mine,then my new Compaq desk top and mine new Asus laptop,and none of them reads any thing on the disc.
If I go to properties it reads used space 0 and free space 0 and the pie is solid blue.
She said someone burned it for her and she play it in a different persons computer. I'm stumped.
What could be wrong that it won't play in the 4 computers in the house.

I said there's nothing on it,but she insists there is. Or someone didn't finalize the CD.
 
It is quite possible that the CD was not finalized. Either that or, it is still a blank disk. If you flip it over, does it look like it has been written to?
 
I didn't check for,but I did look on that side and it was scratched up,but I don't think that was it.
Come to think about I don't remember seeing any color differences like it had been burned.
