I want to publish softwares made by my small firm on CDs. The two devolopers package the the software they have devoloped using InstallShield and then dump the master CD in my home. I then test the application, and copy it, sending them for packaging.
However, I'm concerned by the piracy and wish to protect my CD from casual copying. I need to protect them from simple copy-to-HD-write-to-CDR. Protection from image copiers like CloneCD is not necessary, but will be an added advantage. I don't need fancy anti-debugging and other functionalities, just simple functionality.
I can't use hardware based solutions or licensed replicator firms, just something simple that will let me use my ordinary DVD-RW drive for burning onto CD-Rs. Software based solutions. It will be nice if the softwares free, if not then I at least need to be able to try it.
Can you tell me any such software exists? Thanks a lot.
