cd/rw/dvd/rw rom HELP?

The usual type of drive opens as a tray for you to put your cd onto and close the tray to load right?? I am trying to get hold of a drive and i do not know what they are called, is a drive witch slots in as normal ide but you load the disc like loading a cd into a car stereo, with no tray, the disc just feeds in the drive, where can i get these and what are they called so i can look on the net for them??? any suggestions guys???

i havnt seen a slot drive for a long time maybe theres a reason behind it...
