Can normal CD be formated is there any software for that.

If you are talking about CD-R's they don't need formatting. What are you using them for?

CD-r's cant be formatted, but CDRW's can.

Yeah, to re-write them. Windows can do this, it will ask you when you put the CDRW in your drive.

Programs like Nero and Roxio will either ask if you want it done, or do it automatically when using a RW for the first time.
