CD Speed Problem

I am trying to copy a cd, it measures at 13.7x 2,055kb. But i can do it at is 16x . It seems to burn fine, but then i find out that it stops for a few seconds when i get further into the music.

Can anyone help with this?
 
so ? does it complete burning or what ?
what os do you have, are you using cd-r media, did it ever work right or did this just happen.
 
Yes the burning does complete, but it just stops suddenly through the track when played back, for a few seconds then carry's on. I have only found this problem with this particular track. I am using CD-R it works better that the CD-RW discs. I did copy the same track a year ago and it was completely fine.
 
Try to slow your ripping speeds and your burning speeds, down to 1x if necessary. This has always solved even the toughest copy problems for me.

it only happens on the one track .... it is the track
zip the track burn it to a cd and take it to a friends , unzip and burn the track to a cd at a friends to see if it does the same when played.
