I don't have a floppy drive installed. Can I still make a startup disk using a CD? I need to format my hard drives. I have never used a CD startup disk so if anybody knows some steps to make one, then I would like that very much. Thanks.
What OS are you running? You can use the XP Installation CD to partition and format your drives, or download and burn any of a number of Linux live CDs and partition and format with that.
I have MCE 2K5. I do have the discs. I have never used them to format or partition, I guess I am just an old timer who still uses FDISK and the format command.
