Hi, I'm not technical wiz and need to know if:

--the Asus Eeepc 900,

--the Asus Eeepc (the original 7-inch one)

--and the HP 2133 Mini-notebook

all allow use of a cellular modem, which I need for my work? (wifi won't do at all)

I read the specs but don't understand all the terms.

If they do take cellular modems (mine is verizon wireless) are there any issues with these computers that will affect them, in terms of speed, etc. that I should know about? (I have to work and send information - Word docs -quickly in the field)

I don't need to send image, and would like but don't need to send audio. Mostly it is text or Word files, emails.

I need to use XP operating system.

Thanks very much everyone, anyone, who responds.

Hi, the data modules that were made for the EEE-PC and mininote are 3G modules as far as i am aware, so there for, as long as you get a decent data contract with a decent connection speed from your mobile internet provider, you will be well away. My advise, by a data contract, i.e. unlimited usage, rather than paying ad-hoc, the bills are incredibly high.

If you have any other question relating tom the EEE or Mininote, i have vast knowledge of both.

kind Regards
