centering a website bigger than browser size?

I'm trying to center this web page. see: www.devmk2.com

My monitor resolution is 1920x1080 resolution, so I made the size of the page 1920x2000. Now I realize that for people who have smaller screens it will load off-center.

What I want to do is: get rid of the scroll bar, and center the webpage on the main content area horizontally. I still want the vertical scroll bar. Any help?

If I recall, all it takes is a "margin: 0 auto" in your CSS for the content you want to center.

this either doesn't work, or I am doing it wrong. Note, that the entire page was made in photoshop as 1 document, background and all.
