Certain things won't load...not one computer...

This is an odd problem I've started to have recently, and it's not just a single computer this time... Basically, I click a link, and nothing happens.

Like, on ebay, I have a bookmark that actually just brings me to an invalid page(too lazy to change it :rolleyes: ) I clicked My Ebay about 3 times(waiting a few seconds between clicks) before it actually loaded the login screen.

Another time is with Gallery v1. One of my friends has some images up that you have to sign in to see. I clicked login, entered my info, then login. The popup disappeared but the main page didn't do a thing. I refreashed, logged in again, nothing. I tried another window, nothing... Finally, I found the php code to go to an album and just forced it to continue(you know, the code it shows with all Gallery setups in the URL bar...)

This is very annoying but I have no clue why it's doing this! Both my laptop and desktop do identical things. Any clue as to what it could be?
 
Hmm i don't use firefox, i don't like, still the traditional internet explorer for me
Somehow that also happens for me, but not on internet browsers or else i would've given myself a good enough reason to format me drive, but it happens on msn messenger
If they send me a link, i can't click on it, i have to manually copy and paste it into the address bar of internet explorer
Any suggestions? cause i still have no idea why this is happening
 
sounds isp related to me, if that the case then i doubt a proxy will help much. You are behind a router i assume. Try disabling router firewall, just a thought
 
Nah it wouldn't be the isp because they just send the data, i think that there are wrong configurations on our computers, maybe we played around with system files or the regedit? cause i've been doing that alot these days lol
 
Configurations, firewall and browser can (in my opinion) effect loading. I have a similar problem with my computer. When I go to the website that I made and uploaded it won't display the banner but when I go to another computer it works fine.
