CF clan site

Alright guys just to tell you: Thanks to bomberboy giving us some of his web space we now have a CF clan website:

Please sign up to it if you are interested in playing with some of the people from CF and we have some stuff that we would like to ask of you when we have a good few number of people signed up and using the site, just about opinions on the site, what you would prefer etc.

The site will be used for discussion of games that could be played, planning play times, who with, possibly matches etc, see how it goes first

b) Did you check this with the mod team? I believe that we decided that if it was going to be taken off site, you'll need to change the name of the clan (but I'll double check and get back to you).

The old [CF]Clan was off site as i recall, cfclan.co.uk before everyone went to =tdk=.

b) it is taken off site and I have asked about a new name but with no response from the others. We can always change the name to keep within the CF initials, but now it hasn't got any links to computerforum.com on the site, most people won't think about it.

From what i gathered from the last thread, your main issue with having it associated with this site at all was that it would be poorly managed and maintained that anybody that wants a little rant would come here. Now that we have our own site that sort of boo boo's both of those because that shows clear commitment to the idea by putting alot of time into it and people out for a big rant for whatever reason will go to the CFclan site rather than here.

I know about vwars and that and eventually will probably implement it, but without people on the site and the site not finalised properly yet (it is fully working and usable, just got some creases to iron out and a couple of improvements) putting it on now would really be running before we can walk

you guys can create whatever you like, but for obvious reasons you cant promote another site here that is directly aimed at taknig away traffic from this site!
you could just dicusses games and times to play in the gaming section here....thats whats its for!
