So a while ago i overclocked my Q6600 to 3.4Ghz (from 2.4Ghz). Recently was having trouble with my computer, so i had to re-overclock. Here are my temps compared from before and now.
Before: Max temp 60C, ambient temp around 20C - this is running prime95 for 6 hours.
After: Max temp 69C, ambient temp around 20C - this is running prime95 for 2 hours.
Couple changes i have made was adding a capture card and pci LAN card. Other than that, i can't think of any different variables. All the settings (i believe) are the exact same.
Sooooo... Just curious, if any of you have suggestions on what the difference is. As well as if this will be ok.
