I, I've installed on my pc Windows Xp. I need to change name to the local drive c:....Ho can i change it? A way is to use partition magic...but there is another way?

Go to my computer c drive and right click and then just type your new name. You can also change it under disk management.

Do you mean the drive letter, or the name? If it's the letter, I wouldn't do it. Here's the article: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=223188, but take a look at the "For the most part this is not recommended" quote. At worst, your system will fail to boot, at best, you'll be left with minor problems that are probably more annoying than having the wrong drive letter.

If it's just the name, as everyone's said, right click on the drive and hit rename.
