Changing Bootscreen

Hi,

Do any of you guy's know how i can change the Bootscreen of Windows XP. The standard one is boring and my friends said there was a way to change it. Hope you can help me with it.
 
If you change bios the picture usually changes too, I don't know if you can mod the bios by editing it's boot picture though...
 
there is a program that allows you to change do different animated boot screens, at the moment i can't remember what it's called, if i remember i'll post the name
 
Be very careful using these programs. I tried one and it messed up my kernel. Thankfully, I was able to repair it without losing any information, but it was a hassle. I recommend just being happy with your boring startup screen. If you really want, there is a way (through regedit) to keep it from showing up at all. I could help with that if anyone wants.
