Changing default programs

I opened Microsoft office 2007 by accident and it changed all my file types from Microsoft office 2013. How can I reset my word 2013 for all my document file types. I understand windows 7 has a default program application in which I can choose a default program. So I need to find word 2013 as the .exe file. I'm 90% sure it was installed in the default location within my windows 7 64bit OS. Any tips for restoring my computer?

Why do you have both installed?

Go into default programs, click on associate a file type or protocol with a program. Find each extension used by office and change it to open with 2013

When I go to change the program to open the file type I need to browse to Microsoft office word 2013. Again I believe it was installed in the default local. Any helpful tips on how I can easily access the .exe file for 2013 word. Is there a specific protocol to follow in order to show my 2013 word application as a program rather that searching for a file. thanks for the reply btw

Why don't you just uninstall the older version? Otherwise you will have to follow my previous post.
