Changing Drive letter

Hi,
If we change the drive letter
does it create any problem with the hard disk sector allocations?

Does the data stored in that particular partition be affected?

No it doesnt, however if your trying to change your primary windows partition you cant.

But any shortcuts/programs pointing to your old drive letter will throw up an error.
