Hello

I would like to hear something about one's proxy address, I have been told that if you change that it looks like you are sitting in a diffrent country than you in fact is sitting in, is that right.

Furthermore I would like to ask you how to change it and give me some advice about it.

I really hope that you will help me.

And by the way I am new so I would also like to say hello to all of you and say that this froum looks very interesting and I am looking forward to spend some more time here.

I am not from an english speaking country so I hope that you can deal with my english.

All the best Diddy

Yes, You are able to change your proxy and make it look like your in a diffrent country BUT, your IP can BE TRACED BACK.

It just takes a while more for you to be traced.

I would tell you how but, I'm sure it's against the forum rules in some way.

Ok then nevermind about it.

Will you please say why you need to change your IP?

Of course it is legal to change your IP, countless thousands of people have an IP that is dynamically chosen by their service provider.

The question is, what is your motive in wanting to change it?

Because some internet services are only avaible for people in certain countries and by changing my something I hoped that I could get around that problem.

Such as?

I believe any internet services that restrict the countries they provide services to, have terms and conditions that would be breached, and therefore it'd be illegal to use them. And although you may trick them for a short amount of time, they would detect you.

If you want a straight answer to the question, tell us exactly what it is you are trying to change your IP location for. If it's not something iffy, then you'd have no problem doing that.
