Hey, so ive had my system for about a year now and had to recently send it in for repair (not sure if anything is gunna happen cuz it seems like eVGA has lost my mobo... ) but ive been looking at a few newer brands and was just wondering what some of your guy's opinions on the motherboards are. Ive heard some good things about gigabyte but arent they crossfire only? im running on an nvidia platform and planning on going sli soon so im pretty sure that wont work for me. I was eyeing the 780i from evga but im not sure if its gonna be worth the price atm. Any mobos/chipsets/brands i should look for specificly?
Thanks

The 750i would be your best bet for upgrading unless you want to put a little more money into it. I have always like EVGA and think that they are a trustworthy company. :D

do you guys think that if i wanted to now overclock my 6750 that i could do so with the 750i ftw as well?
cuz i never really got around to upgrading my cooling and actually ocing it on my 680i but i mite wanna try it on my new mobo as i will be a making a few upgrades like ram and cooling

Most likely, yes :)

eVGA is great IMO, and with that step-up program... :D

hmm
well evga said they found my motherboard
but apparently the CPU socket was damaged so they wont replace it..
and i am 100% sure that nothing looked out of place when i packed it up to ship
but i guess looks can be decieving =(
so now i have a dilemma
shell out for a new mobo or get a replacement 680i for 60 bucks plus shipping to Canada...
what do you guys think?
