So I'm good to go right? I'm a little nervous becuase I don't think the fan in the gfx card works for some reason. It has been overheating lately, and I try to hand-spin the fan and it is very...stuck. Even dusting it didn't do anything.

Looks like it would work, although I've always preferred a straight reinstall after changing a motherboard. As far as the licensing is concerned, if you have the XP product key, you can call Microsoft and they should allow you to reactivate. That Michael Stevens trick is interesting, though.
