Changing out motherboards.

I was wondering, if I were to change out my motherboard, with the same exact specs for what I need (the one I have now has some problems and I need to get a better one), would it just load completely the same as if it were the same motherboard in now? Meaning like, (besides the drivers I need to install for the motherboard) would it load windows and everything on my hard drive/etc exactly the same, without any problem?

I don't know if I explained it correctly, but that's the best I can do.

As long as it is the EXACT SAME BOARD, then windows should load just fine.

No, its a different board.

There's already windows on here and everything, I'm on the computer right now, but what I'm trying to say is, pretend the new motherboard were to be inside my computer right now, and I were to start up my computer and make the boot-up, or whatever its called, on hard drive/etc in the bios, would it load up exactly the way it is now, besides all the drivers I need to install that it'll ask.

It might work. You may need to format windows but you can give it a try all you may need to do is just install new drivers.

If your motherboard were fried, but everything inside of it were working 100% and you switched out the motherboard, would you lose all of your files, is what I'm trying to say I guess.

If it is the same motherboard it should work. But if it isn't the same motherboard you could end up having to reformat and install an OS again.
