Changing the name of your video card?

Just wondering if its possible to change the name of your Graphics Card? I know its probably not possible but worth an ask?

The answer to your question is no not without some hacking of some kind plus it is probably illegal and will probably void your warranty some how.

I could if a knew how but I don't I'm not software person I know the hardware in an out but I'm lost when it comes to computer software.

Even if you could change it, would have to be with the cards bios/Firmware. The drivers would freak out.

i don't think it's a matter of "hacking" it's probably not terribly difficult, i just have no clue how to do it, could cause problems as well.
