OK. recently I have been asking many quesions in this part of the website and I thank all of you for dealing with me:D . Some of ya'll have told me that if I "flash" the motherboard I'm getting I could get the motherboard to run my X2 4800+ that I will be getting even though on sites and stores it says it can't run them or my CPU is not listed there. How do you do this? I have absolutely no idea what you guys are talking about. Is it hard? Could a newbie do it without much hassle? I'm trying to get a pretty decent motherboard that doesn't cost a fortune and I was looking at this one.

The ultra-d will boot with a dual core CPU. But it wont see both cores untill you flash the BIOS. Its a simple process that is risk free as long as you dont turn you're computer off while your flashing. Heres a guide that explains it much better then i can: http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=1605.

And yes you should be able flash amost all S939 boards to support dual core if not out of the box. i. e. the ASUS and DFI boards will work after a flash.

Thanks dude. Now is this a pretty good motherboard for gaming? Or should I get a more top-of-the-line Asus? Or should I just stick with the DFI LAN Party?

The LP wont let you down, its a tried and true board ... a bit finicky depending on what BIOS rev it ships with but good :)
