Hi, I recently changed my login name. Lets say i changed it from "a" to "b". The folder in "Documents and Settings" didn't change from "a" to "b" but remained as "a". I tried renaming the folder but it wont allow me to. Is there anyway to change this to the updated login name? Everything works, but its just bugging me.

You can but it is complicated.

If you run regedit and search for "C:\Documents and Settings\<username>"
The key ProfileImagePath is what windows uses for your stuff.

The Documents and Settings folders are set in stone at the time of the install, and ordinarily can't be renamed. Microsoft has an article that you can look at for renaming via the registry, however I would recommend not tweaking system folders, it could cause serious problems when trying to install programs etc.
