Cheap dual core laptops?

Hi there :)

I was wondering if there are any cheap dual core laptops around? Im in the UK and ive got a budget of £300, must be intel dual core, and have more than 1GB of RAM, does anyone know of any laptops this cheap?
 
In my opinion Josh, buying a refurbished or used, in simple words, laptop is the worse thing you can do. Try to increase a little bit more your budget and get a decent new one with it's warranty. There are many ones who me or somebody can propose you
 
Hmm...i was looking towards a laptop kind of like the Dell Inspiron 1525? Something similar to this, i know these were quite cheap from dell when first released.
 
Come on please Nevakonaza.... Celeron is always Celeron. Is a simple processor. The emachines you mentioned doesn't even has HD Graphics.... When anybody will have more than medium volume of startup programs you will see how it will stuck.... RAM doesn't makes difference, and you know it. Check some benchmarks.

What do you expect for £300??
I would be amazed if you can find something better spec than that emachine.
 
There are far better laptops for that or around price. For 30-40 GBP He can buy a decent CPU like single or dual core and then on a future stage upgrade the RAM when he will have ability. And brand new with warranty and with future for upgrades when he will be able. My experience from the eshop I buy things that's what tells me. Take a look at www.droushiotis.com. People there are willing to assist and propose solutions. That's how I choose personally. Honestly there are solutions.
