What are some cheap PCI cards that could run cs source?
I've found a few
VisionTek Radeon 9200SE 128MB VGA / DVI / PCI
and
PCI ATI Radeon 64MB DDR Dual Head

I am wondering how good/bad these actually are because I am thinking of putting like 3-4 monitors on my computer.

umm i think u should get a new mobo, pci cards are poopy.

but if u want a source card use a gfx 5500 . they are around 80 bucks i think

i know pci cards suck but i already installed one in the pci e slot i just wanna put one in the pci slot cuz my friend did it with cards worse then the ones above and he's playing cs fine.

ISA for life!

oh my god that ISA thing woooo
what computers even used those?
i dont think any of my old cpus used it....or maybe they did

Are you trying to stretch CSS onto more than one monitor? If you plan to do an even amount of monitors it wont work, if you get three though, it will probably be WAY to laggy to game, or at least you would only get maybe 10 fps. I would rather just take the single output of your pci-e card and get a vga trippler/divider. That way you get three monitors and can game without lag. Although when not in game it will not work very well.

If you plan to do the pci root, I would suggest at least a 5200.

I was not really planning on getting one anytime soon I just wanted to see if there were any good PCI video cards that are somewhat cheap like $100 or below. I play cs in a window so yeah...

Any PCI card should play CSS perfectly fine. Even my old GF2 32MB SDR played it fine at highest settings (using DX8 rather then 9 of course). The Source engine was very well coded and can be played smoothly on almost any card. A 5200FX would play it perfectly as well (although if your gonna run max graphics DO NOT turn on DX9 as this card will have about 1fps). I would not choose the 5200 though, i owned one, very poor choice to make as it is an all around bad card and i think everyones said that the FX series was nvidias mistake lol.
