Cheap PCI-E GPU

I might be building a computer for a friend of mine soon. He is going to need a video card and I am trying to figure out which one to get him. It needs to be PCI-E. He isn't much of a gamer but he does like to do audio and video conversions, and viewing of HD video. Price range is cheap, like $50 or so. Any suggestions? Thanks.

the 7300 cards aren't bad,and they are relatively cheap. Not the best gaming cards but htey do hold the power of the G70 soo they wont be too bad for the video stuff.

I would go with either a 6200 or 6600, since they support SM3, and are decent performers, especially compared to his 9000PRO.

Yep, I will get the 6600 for him if he decides to let me build him a computer. Thanks guys.

How much does he want to spend on one?

I meant how much does he want to spend on a computer, not just the video card.

Well I might be selling him some of my parts so all he needs is a video card.

btw, I reached 3.13Ghz on my cpu :D :P

I'm not too sure yet about a price.

That's a great overclock! Hope it stays stable though.
