Cheap PCI-E Motherboard

I have decided that for the price of a new motherboard, it is worth getting a new one that supports PCI-E. Especially when I need a new graphics card anyway (which would cost me about £20 more if I stuck to AGP).

I am not too knoledgeable in terms of motherboards, so I was wondering whether you could help me out by saying some good ones for around the £25 mark. They must have a PCI-E slot and all the basics. It doesn't have to be really fast or anything, just a fairly basic, PCI-E motherboard.

Does PCI-E actually make a difference to graphics card performance?

Im pretty sure Foxconn probably a budget PCI-E £25 board, just look on ebay, you should be able to find a good deal, Also ASrock do cheap boards, look out for them also:)

Well, the 3200+ comes in both S754 and S939 versions - we'll need to know which one you're getting first.

PCI-E doesn't make a huge difference in video card performance. Most video cards don't use the full bandwidth of AGP8X. Newer video cards, however, are now coming out only in PCI-E versions, and AGP cards are becoming far more expensive than their PCI-E counterparts.

Suffice it to say, at £25 you're looking at something ultra-budget. Don't expect too much out of this sort of board.
