Cheap PCMCIA Wireless Card With Monitor Mode?

I need a cheap PCMCIA Wireless card for my laptop. Iv got a Dell 1525 and it doesn't have monitor mode with the On-board wireless. I need one that has it. I'm going to use it for "testing" encryption security on me and my friends network. Any help on a this? Cheapest one I can find is like 120 or so.

The ORiNOCO cards do have monitor mode, they just take some doing to get them into it. And are about the £100, your probably best to use the £120 one, but, your current one may be able to access this mode,

here it suggests a few applications you can use which do the same thing as monitor mode.

Can promiscuous mode pick up traffic like monitoring mode? Keep in mind this is for cracking WEP and WPA keys. Its got to be able to grab packets. Im just testing the security of my and other friends networks.

I'm using a program called Cain & Able. Its an integrated wireless G card from dell. I'm sure it doesn't. Laptops in my sig.
