cheap SLI

I'm building a rig for college and am wanting to buy a cheap AMD SLI board. On newegg, the two I am looking for are the BIOSTAR N4SLI-A9 and GIGABYTE GA-K8NU-SLI. Have any of you heard about either of these boards? I am especially questioning the Biostar as I cannot find anything on this board. Thanks.

Well I have the GA-K8NU-SLI it isn't bad, but the ram slots are compact. I dont really have a complaint about it except that one thing.

Hmmm...

As far as I know...Gigabyte makes some good stuff in general. I am a proud owner of one of their newest Nforce4 Ultra mobo. I know nothing about Biostar.

Biostar is one of "those" brands (the ones you avoid). Gigabyte is all over the friggen board: they have good boards and bad boards ... nothign really steallar really
