Cheapest graphics card

What's the cheapest graphics card I can purchase that plays Halo on my computer? (Cheap as in price, not in quality)
 
What other hardware are you running?

Anyway get a 9600Pro as absolute minimum, if you accept playing the game with a lower resolution and/or lower level of details that is.

A Geforce 4 series card would be "able" to play Halo, but at a cost in game quality. A better question would be how much money do you have, and what is the best card in that price range.
 
The Ti's yes.

But the era of the GeForce4 Titanium has long gone past. To buy a new card today with Halo in mind I wouldn't want to spend money on something slower than the 9600Pro.

have you eve rplayed halo? the 800x640 and 1280x1024 are damn near the same and make no diference. anyway, the gfx card i got, whilst absolutely crap, can play halo, far cry, UT2004 etc,and can be picked up for £50 off of www.ebuyer.com

I forget how the jingle goes, but you can find it on ebay.

And it just so happens I have a spare GeForce Ti 4200.
