checking agp speed

how can you find out if your AGP is 2x, 4x or 8x? I've got a Dell 2002 Pentium 4 if that helps.

Download and run cpu-z, it will tell you the specs on the motherboard, as well as the AGP speed if you have an AGP slot.

ah yes, but under which heading? I currently don't have a video card in the AGP slot.

It should be listed under the Mainboard tab, and it should say on the very bottom.
