Checking compatibility, upgrading old pc.

Hi Guys,

I'm upgrading an old Dell Dimension C521, well, just because lol.

I'm asking what kind of video card I could use in this machine.

The motherboard is a Dell 0HY175 and it has a PCI Express 1.0A slot and a PCI2.3 slot.

Will the following video card work in the machine?

You won't get that much more performance from the X1300 to the X1600. What do you use the machine for?

If your upgrading just because, go for it. It will work, but not give you a significant improvement in performance.

As stated it's a pretty minor upgrade, you could find something a lot faster for a comparable eBay price.
