I live in China and I have a problem....opera (DO NOT tell me to use firefox...its not gonna happen) doesnt seem to have eastern language characters and I cannot seem to find any language packs for either windows or opera to remedy this. It would be really nice to not have a bunch of boxes everytime I try to view a local website.

Any ideas?
 
You can download Microsoft Office Chinese langauge pack here.
Now, if news are the only thing you want to read there ( well pictures aren't on chinese I suppose lol ) so just copy paste the text into your Office and translate.
That's the best I found so far, maybe I update the post soon.
