chipset cooling [solved]
Ok so this is why i need it...
my freind needed help with his comp. of course i had to say yes... bad to say no to a freind, he wanted me to add a new CPU heatsink+fan in because he was afraid to, and didnt realy know how. so when i opened the case i saw how sad this mobo was... at max holds 2 gb ram only 2 sata ports AND NO HEATSINK OVER CHIPSET! i was amazed... this think gets realy hot and theres NO protection, when i told him he had to idea what it was, and didnt care. luckly for him i do, read below...
Ok so iono if i named it right, but its a little chip on a mother board, its located here:
Some mobos have a little heatsink over it but this one doesnt.
is there any way i can tack a mini HS on or would that be bad? or is there any other way of cooling besides heatsinks and fans that could fit there?
