H huntleth New Member Apr 3, 2007 #1 I cant defrag my hard drive as it says the c drive might be corrupt. I ran chkdsk /f. but it bought up the cmd screen and then it disappeared. did i do something wrong when i typed it in? Cheers

S subtle New Member Apr 3, 2007 #4 You need to run Recovery console. To do that, insert OS CD into cdrom restart computer (boot from cd) and chose correct option when prompted (R).
