I only use computer for email and web browsing and playing you tube videos. plus instructional DVDS I had a dell desktop since 2002. with windows xp I will not be playing any games Ive been told to go with a Mac desktop over a PC Wanted to get everybody's input Mac or PC Merry Christmas to all
 
Your gonna end up paying twice as much money if not more for a mac then a windows machine. If all you want to do is surf, email and watch youtube then a windows machine is more than enough for what you need.
 
Anything a mac can do a pc can so the choice is yours. The only benefit of having a mac is its fancy look. I personally don't like the mac os and macs are insanely overpriced in terms of price/performance, so I would recommend you a windows machine.
 
For what you plan to use a computer for, the cheapest you can find will be fine. That will most likely be a Windows machine.
