well i have decided to replace my foxconn flamingblade due to one of the ram dims not working

(i will sell it on ebay as damaged but working, cos i can still run it with 2 slots)

these are the choices i like

XFX X58i Intel X58

Asus P6T SE Intel X58

Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R

now i know the xfx is b grade but i have bought b grade from here before and i was still covered in there waranty and like brandnew

i dont like the colour sceme of the gigabyte boards, i would prob spoil all my liquid cooling by putting something baby blue in tehre (i know it has faster sata aswell)

what you guys think?

i'm leaning towards the xfx board, i have had the p6t se before the foxconn flamingblade and i had to RMA it..

well i was going to just jump in and order a new mobo now but im going to wait until thursday and throw in another £100 from my pay!

so my total to spend will be £250+postage (give or take £10)

any ideas?

i will only buy from uk shops-overclockersuk-scan and any other people can recommend "but not ebay"

Why not just rma the flamingblade?

Otherwise, i'd recommend the standard P6T, not the SE:

yeh, i was also looking ast replacing it with the sam or bloodrage....

turns out it wasnt just a ram slot dissabled but my graphics slot was damaged, gaming would be in slow motion (was a little weird)

Kind of strange, especially when on the X58 as the pcie is from the northbridge on X58/1366. Might have been one of the data pins bent though.
