Choosing A Graphic Card...

I want to upgrade my VIA/S3G graphic card, It Sucks .... ALOT... but I don't know what graphic card will work with my motherboard... My mother board is MSI MS-7061 with VIA KM400 Chipset I have a AGP Bus but it's being used by my KM400 Graphics Adapter so can i upgrade the graphic card to something better???
 
yes it's integrated graphics which sucks a whole lot... But I need something around the 128-256 MB, but from a retail store like Office Depot, Staples, Compusa... somethign like that... Any help on what will work, and what is the best
 
I will use the card for a little gaming, for game like flight sim 2004, AOE III, Sims 2, AOMyth, and some Call of Duty... could that card handle it??... and since my graphics is integrated if i add this graphic card does it mean my 64mb + this 128= 192mb graphics card???

No. Make sure you uninstall the drivers for the integrated graphics before you install your new video card. If you don't, you will create serious driver conflicts.
 
wait that card would use too much of my PC's Resources... I think a 128mb gaming card is the best i could use without using too much of my PC's resource... i have a AMD Sempron clocked at 1.7ghs and 512mb of ram...

... You joking right?

GFX has it's own memory, it does not use your system memory. I'd go for an 7300GT and 1GB DDR400 RAM for your system, that should speed it up quite and bit. Local stores are overpriced, online stores save alot of money.

Why not go with a 7600GS? It's about the same price and is a better card.
 
Thank You Very Much... I'm getting the geoforce e-GeForce FX 5200... I really wanted to play the new AOE 3... so the specs on this card seems like it could handle it.. als o seems to be able to hande RC tycoon 3, and halo 1+2...
 
One of my friends ahve that super sorry VIA/S3 Unichrome graphic card.... and we got NFS underground. and i launched but you can't really see anything... except the car.. everything is this blu/grey-ish color, and you acn't read the words... Anyone know what I mean... also We Dled 3D Analyze... to emulate the things needd for the game through software... but we don't know what to emulate to make the game work so we in dire need of your help...
Also would you guys like a pic if yuo don't understand what i mean??
