Choosing a monitor for gaming

I really don't know what size or resolution to go for, as I don't know much about monitors in general. The graphics card I will be buying is a HD4770 and the budget for the monitor is about £100 and although I wouldn't mind going a little over, I think anything larger than 22" is out of the question. I'm leaning towards 19" and 20" at the moment, but I don't have a clue about what native resolution is best for each monitor size...

Any advice is appreciated.

I would say go with the 22" monitor...but the brand "Extra Value" seems just a bit dodgy...Are there any other 22" monitors that's in your budget range?

Hehe yeah that's what I also thought...But it has a 5 star average with 20 ratings so it can't be terrible ^^

Imo go with the samsung, the samsung has an 8bit panel while the "extra Value" uses a 6bit panel. PLus samsung monitors are among the best ones made... Viewsonic is a decenet brand:

Personally, I would go with something by Acer. I've purchased 4 of these and not a fault in any of them.
