well in your profile i see that your using a GeForce 5500 with 256 RAM, are you lagging with that card?

yes, i have a 5500 but i need a pci card becasue for some reason compaq said my comp has a agp slot and it does but theres no connecter. I need a pci not express. Also yeah i might get 1gig of ram but i need help with a card.

1 gig of ram would be realy wastefull seeing as how ur pci card will bottleneck ur PC majorly

What do you mean there is no connector??? If the slot is there then you should be able to use it.

I think he means the wiring on the mobo for it is there, but the slot itself that lets you use it isnt.

Of course, if you take the metal backplate of the card, glue it to the other end, turn the card around, it will fit in your PCI slot. Just dont do it because the graphic card will break

I feel so special that my old HP has an AGP slot...
