Choosing a projector

Hi, I'd need your advice for a projector. Budget's about 800 - 1200 $. What's best? I'm looking for a resolution of about 1024 x 768.

What currency are you taking about? Do you want a LCD projector or some older type ones?

I don't think its for gaming as you would need higher resolutions than 1024x768.

well, he's not going to be doing much but presentations with that price range, i'm just trying to figure out what he's planning on doing with it

nope, you've been able to get an lcd projector for under $1k for years now

projectors range from $500-600 to $30,000-40,000. it's all about what you need them for

dlp and lcd projectors start around $469 on tigerdirect

and around $899 in stores

I got the screen from newegg.com shipped for $75.

Also order and DVI to HDMI cable online for about $30. We got our 18ft cable from sewellsdirect I think. Check newegg for a cable or www.pricewatch.com

Our whol setup including mount and cable runs was $1200.

You will need to modify the power cord to cieling mount it as it's nowhere near long enough.
