Chromebook - iHub Wireless network reappears

My mother owns a Chromebook and lately a wireless network called iHub_(bunch of numbers) keeps appearing on her wireless network list. It keeps disconnecting from the normal wireless and attempting to connect to this iHub network.

Firstly, she lives in the middle of nowhere. There is 0 chance this iHub network is a neighbors wireless network.

Secondly, there are no apple products in the house.

Finally, even if there were apple products or nearby neighbors, why would it automatically add one and set it as a preferred network, ignoring the already existing and working network?

Thanks,
Jeremy

Does her WIFI connection have a password? You should be able to delete the iHub profile.

I looked up iHub and couldn't find anything Apple related. I would scan the computer with Malwarebytes. http://www.malwarebytes.org/

If that doesn't find anything try Hitman Pro or boot a Bitdefender live disk and scan. Use Imgburn to burn the ISO to CD.

It's a Chromebook. It doesn't get viruses.
OP, his is what iHub is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IHub
But that doesn't anything for us, does it?

Well, I have one thing to say. Get a new laptop. Chrome-books are useless. They don't even have a hard drive in them. You can do a lot more with Windows 3.1 :D Sorry, but my school has them, and they suck. All they do is battle for internet, and works slow. I know it is not our school internet or anything, because I bring my own laptop to the school, and the internet is just perfect, better then mine actually.

What a stupid post. You added nothing useful AS WELL as bumping a month old thread and besides I actually love my Chomebook.
