CiT cases ?

I ordered this CIT brand case - http://www.cclonline.com/product/12...rd-Reader-Black-Interior-Fan-Control/CAS0931/

This is the first time I have tried this brand and i found the quality shocking even for a cheap end case, the metal was paper thin, the risers were pre installed with 1 being forced in at an angle and 2 of the others would not tighten properly they would tighten slightly then just spin.

Did I just get a bad case or is this brand usually that bad ?

Also had the huge hassle of having to buy a 2nd case a coolermaster k380 while waiting to return this one so my machine is not lying in bits.

I've never bought anything from CIT,but you pretty much get what you pay for these days really.

Saying that i bought a el-cheapo M-atx (HTPC style) case some time back..This one (but in black and silver)

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Digital-Generation-PC-Case/dp/B00FN2JKYM

but i was quite shocked at just how well made it actually was..no flimsy panels,No sharp bits..paint job was really good.
My only complaint with it,one of the front USB ports was slightly bent, but nothing a slight push down with a flat screwdriver didn't fix.
Still using it today for my sisters Linux rig.

But yeah you would have been better just going with the Coolermaster or something like an Antec 302 in the first place. :)

Anything CIT is basically garbage especially their psu's. Basically a cheap retail manufacturer.

Right this is turning into the upgrade from hell, I got my cooler master case and it is great, but the cooler master 550w psu I got is grinding really loud, I thought cooler master power supplies were meant to be good ?, so far the best psu`s I have ever bought are ocz everyone of them have been quiet and never had a problem.

Is it the coolermaster elite series? Those are kind of low end units. I bought one for a client and really didn't care for it. Feels cheaper then what it actually costed.

The GM is made by CWT. Not a bad manufacture, but the GM is not one of their upper end units. The thing about Cooler Master PSUs is they use about 8 different manufactures. I usually stick with Corsair or Seasonic PSUs. You can get pretty good deal on XFX too, as far as I know all their PSUs are made by Seasonic..
