Clean hard drive for new install

I have a hard drive that was used as second drive. I want to make it like a new hard drive from a data standpoint. Can I delete everything with a whipe drive type tool and then use it for a clean install just like a "new" drive.

Basically I re-installed W7 and created a 100gb partition that bugs me. I figure I could just reinstall my OS in the new drive that I have used about twice. Do you think I will have issues with my system builder OS, it will be on the same MOBO?

What software do you recomend? Thanks

So basically you have a secondary drive that has windows 7 on it and you want to wipe it clean and set it up as a 'slave'?

I don't fully understand either. Is your current C: drive the one with the 100 GB partition and your current D: drive the one you want to wipe and install your OS on? Why not just format the drive? Wipes it clean.

I have a second drive that was used for storage in the "game" system below. I want to wipe it clean so i can then install the OS on it and not have any partition, it would then be the only drive. This would then be my main drive. I would then clean myu primary drive the same way and have it for whatever.
