Hello
I am interested in buying the game 'clear sailing'. but i wonder if it will work good with my video card.
i have an ge-Force FX 5500 256 MB PCI nvidea, plus 512 RAM (and planning to add more) You think it would work good? how much otions (resolution) would need to be decread/increase? (%) Any advice would be glady taken!

Chris

here are the minimum specs of it

i think, is it the NVIDIA Demo

Minimum System Requirements: GeForce 6200, Windows XP, ForceWare Drivers v61.76 or higher, 512 MB system memory, 128 MB video memory.

i think you might need to upgrade your GPU,

Alll i can say to this is, work from the lowest of the lowest and work up.

change texture etc first before changing resolution, when it starts to get jumpy, youve hit your limit.

this works with me

Depends on the demo, but the vast majority allow to change the options like in the regular game, maybe Esc, or some other key that is attached to the options menu...

You could probably play it. You can pretty much play all of the most recent games on that card, as long as everything is on the lowest and you are running at like 640 x 480. :D

Well, maybe a little higher then that. But the retail will almost certainly have some way to change image quality.

I would reccomend upgrading anyways, just to a 6600 or so, then you can play anything that you would be interested in.

Well, now it is, actually about 2 years ago it was a fairly good card, before the 6x series came out. It's just that it's outdated, but I think that you could still run the card fine, I was running a lot of stuff on my old GeForce 2 MX 400 that "shouldn't" be run on it, and it was fine. It was maybe a bit choppy and I did have to down the graphics a lot, but it was basically fine. Plus, any of the extra DirectX 9 stuff will be ignored by your current GPU (it's an DirectX 8, right?...I don't remember) and it will play fine anyway...

You are all CRACK HEADS... the game will work fine. Dont max the settings out though.
Thanks Trizoy, I was trying to say that in a more round-about diplomatic way. But, your way seemed to get the point across effectively... :P
